Sam Appleby
I am the owner of Core Independent Financial Planning. I am an experienced Chartered Financial Planner, and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
My financial qualifications and expertise are tailored to Wealth Management, Estate Planning and Retirement Planning.
I am passionate about straightforward planning advice, and making a personal commitment to clients.
I live in Beverley with my wife Helen, our sons, George, Elliot & Charlie and Pippa the dog.
Lorraine Steel
Lorraine is our Office Manager, and has been providing valuable support to Sam since 2007.
Her first role in Financial Services was as a mortgage adviser in the mid 1990’s. She held various support and advisory roles, whilst attaining the Certificate for Financial Advisers.
She went on to work within a medical practice, as well as raising her two children, Holly and Ben.
Her work and life experiences, as well as her friendly personality make her a valuable part of our team.
Peter Watts
Peter joined the team in 2016. He holds the Diploma in Financial Planning.
He provides support to Sam, involved in all aspects of research and report writing.
Peter previously worked with a friend of ours, who sadly passed away in 2016. He had provided valuable support to her for ten years, and it has been great to add him to our team.
Peter is married to Catriona, and they recently become a family with the birth of Alice in 2017.
