I provide advice to ensure you are planning efficiently, and taking the right action. The process can take the form of the following stages.

Stage 1 – Initial meeting

This can take the form of one or two meetings.

The first meeting allows us to get to know each other, as well as giving you a snapshot of how I work for your benefit. It is an opportunity to explain the process of financial planning, and demonstrate the value of financial planning to you as a client.

Secondly, I can ask questions and gather lots of information on your financial arrangements. This will enable me to complete a comprehensive financial review. Alternatively, we can focus our discussions on specific areas.

Stage 2 – Research

I spend time after the initial meeting(s) analysing your financial arrangements, and researching any areas which require further advice, in consideration of your objectives. If any new financial solutions are required, I will carry out independent research in order to make a specific recommendation.

Stage 3 – Presentation meeting

I will provide a personal “Financial Planning Report” for you to keep. This describes my analysis of your existing arrangements, and any recommendations.

At this meeting I present these recommendations to you. This might include making alterations to your existing plans or to make new arrangements.

Stage 4 – Implementation

The next stage is to implement any financial solutions, strategies, or alterations to existing arrangements. This can be done on your behalf, to ensure a smooth process.

Stage 5 – Regular reviews

Whilst I can provide ‘one off’ services, the most important aspect of financial planning is ensuring that your plans remain effective. At each review we can also take account of changes in taxation, legislation and your circumstances.
